Made from milk solids and paneer cheese malai koftas (cream balls) are most certainly popular among Indian vegetarian dishes. Milk solid and cheese are kneaded well and the roudels are stuffed with sweet, savory coarsely ground nuts. This stuffing is well balanced giving complex flavors from ghee, saffron, nuts and dried mint combined. The flavorful roundel slow fried to golden perfection, dunked and served in creamy cashew and melon seed gravy were a true gastronomical delight.
